Frankie Urzetta
Drummer/Vocalist
A seasoned drummer and
vocalist brings to the table over twenty years of professional experience.
Frankie’s dynamic “signature” voice is powerful and soulful. His tone and
timber have often been compared to the sound s of Michael McDonald, Huey
Lewis, and Joe Cocker. Frankie’s love of Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock,
and Motown has no doubt influenced his style.
In 1979, Frankie left New York as a drummer with a seasoned high energy
7 piece show band which played across the country from the likes of
Atlantic City to Las Vegas and all points in between. Over the years
Frankie has performed consistently with numerous bands sponsored by
Organizations such as the Graham’s out of Nashville and The Maloof’s in
New Mexico. He has opened for artists such as Gary Moore, Lee Greenwood,
and The Romantics.
In the Mid 80’s Frankie came off the road to form an original Rock/Funk
Band called “Strictly Taboo”. This successful five piece band enjoyed
performing many years together culminating with a highly acclaimed
original CD “Playing with Fire”.
Frankie’s solid drumming ability accompanied by his incomparable vocal
talent and loveable nature made him a perfect fit for “Mr.Natural” when he
relocated to Florida last spring.
